How can you help?

Academic Learning Center is a separate organization from the school system and depends on private funding from foundations, businesses and individuals to run its program. Every dollar spent is carefully allocated to make the best use of available money.

Thank you to our 2017-2018 Donors:

The Academic Learning Center serves children in the highest poverty level elementary schools in the Cabarrus County and Kannapolis City School Districts of North Carolina, where there are fifteen Title I schools. Currently, the Academic Learning Center tutors children in twelve of these Title I schools.

Donations will be used to sustain the current programs as well as expand our services into additional schools.  Funding allows us to provide stipends for certified teachers in the current program as well as expansion of the program to help additional elementary children.

When you help children reach their full potential, you can feel proud that you are serving those children and helping your community.
